I heard that St.Johns was moved 4 inches by the tornado and has been condemned.

I don't know if it was officially condemned but they are not going to rebuild at the existing location. They are currently operating out of a mobile unit in the existing parking lot. They are currently evaluating possible locations to rebuild.
We are lucky in Joplin to have two major hospitals so close. Freeman West is only 1 mile from the current St. Johns/Mercy hospital. That may be the main reason for them to want to move to be a little further away and to give more options for emergency services so all emergencies don't use one of two streets like their current setup does.
