Where'd you go in Windsor? Just the Casino? If you're ever there with a group of people there is a cool restaurant within walking distance of the Casino (when its not freezing anyhow... it's like 7-8 blocks). It's called Harvey Low's Yummy House. They have authentic Chinees food (not chop suey, they have stuff like lemon shrimp, dragon eyed shrimp, etc.), and it is amazing. Another cool feature of the place (and the reason you need a decent group... 6 or more works perfect) is they put everyone's entre in the middle of the table on a HUGE lazy suzan. Everyone gets to eat a little bit of what everyone else ordered (and they give you PLENTY... if one person wanted to eat nothing but their entre they could get full and other people could still try their dish).
If anyone goes you HAVE to try the "hot and spicy noodle soup"... It's AMAZING!

We did not even stop in canada last year and when we stopped at a place to eat we had about a dozen cops and other law enforcement people start checking the boats out.

Last year we where hassled at Jack's by Border Patrol wanting to know if we had been to Canada. After that it was decided to keep it on the US side of the river.
