I believe you are thinking of Castle Rock County Park. It's a nice campground with a boat launch as well. The launch is a bit short however. I would recommend launching at the Dirty Turtle.

The weather is looking pretty crappy for Friday and Saturday...Sunday looks sunny but cool...a little better on Monday...not the best holiday weather forecast.
