Indoor heated storage at Wolverine in Lincoln Park $60mo. I know of a outdoor place on Groesbeck for $30mo.

I was standing there when they lifted the boat and saw and heard nothing break.
They said they would put me in one more time to leave or I could use a well for the remainder of the season which I had to do as no other rack was available. The next day another boat was in the rack I vacated.

Might as well tell my Michigan Harbor story also............
Had my brand new boat trailer stolen from their lot summer of 2000. When I told the marina office what happened they just blew me off. Couple weeks later mine and a bunch of other boats were broken into, again a complete blow off.

My previous boat was rack stored at Lands End for a few years but the drive and traffic on S. River Rd. on weekends made me leave their. Backing into the takeout wells there is difficult with the river current and boat traffic going to the gas docks.

We're in Traverse City now and really enjoy the area but there are no rack facilities and only a few marinas with long waiting lists and high rates. Luckly we got into a marina our third summer here.
ed
Beacon told me they wouldn't take mine because a Fountain broke their machine. Thanks LOL.

I've read through all the posts and haven't determined if there is a good or bad in and out place. I would like to rack store mine this year, but if I have to risk theft or someone not being available to pull it out or put it in I'll keep it on the trailer.

That would work perfect for me if they have rack storage.

They do have rack storage. They are pricey and you have to store trailer somewhere else.

Okay I thought I could help out a few peeps with rack storage here we go:

Anchor Bay Marina:
Good:
Only a rack storage building
Hot dock girls
Clean floors and building
Very nice to work with and they will help you out
Newer style forks

Bad:
Can only work on your boat during the week not on the weekends no ground rack work on the weekends.
No ramp or trailer storage

Beacon Cove Marina
Good:
On site boat ramp
Free trailer storage
Cheaper prices
Can work on your boat all week

Bad:
No girls
Not easy to work with
Hours suck
Dirty building and floors
Forks are old style and not in good shape

Belle Maer
Good:
Clean builing and floors
Great hours
Use of the bubbler when parked
Ground work use 7 days a week
Great soft forks
Nice place

Bad:
No girls
No trailer storage

Belle Maer has racks? I wasn't aware.

I don't know if it has changed, but from what I understand the trailer storage at BCM isn't "free" anymore. I think you pay something like $100-150 for the summer to keep your trailer there, if you want to store it on their yard.

Hot dock girls alone may do it for me. The worthless SOBs at BCMs gas dock have driven me to the point of nearly punching the one moron. Anyone that's been there knows who it is too...
