Notice I DIDN'T post anything NEGATIVE about the boat, operator, incident or location! I am very happy all are ok. It could happen to any of us. I will still get labled "that guy" for hanging out with these clowns though.

Only reason I'm riding this topic is cause of the owner. Go back in time and look at allll the other sunny crash threads, no 288 kid to be found.
It's strictly a personal thing. I will say the drivers dad is a very nice guy and we had a hour and a half conversation about oil on the torch sandbar before I even owned a boat. Shame the apple didn't fall closer to the tree.

The PQ's are starting to grow on me due to their size and amenities (seen some nice ones out on the lake this year). But in a few years when I get ride of the lil old Sunny I'm thinking of getting a small cruiser to keep in the water behind the house and building up a 28 Pantera for the "toy" boat.

I had to make the same decision years ago. My wife does not like going fast. Then I said I can make a FAST boat go SLOW but I can't make a SLOW boat go FAST. The wife is not always in the boat.
