Hmmm. Maybe we will see Skippy as a new screen name.

From the driver's post on SeriousOffshore:

I believe the drives grabbed the bottom as we entered the turn the steering wheel jerked real hand and next thing you no the ass end slid out and rolled the water was at 4 ft and we werent going all that fast we took harder and faster turns out on the sea trial. cant explain what really happened but everyone is alive. i'm sure some of the so called experts will put there 2 cents in above not nowing how to drive ive been boating for 35yrs 12 of them in go fast. so have fun with it.

As a 2nd note for those of you said the drives were in they were at 3 on the gauge and our speed was at about 40 thats why we are not dead!

Exactly proving the point! Be careful in shallow water!

You missed the facebook chit yesterday. I even heard there was a rumor I was in the boat.

Our chit won't roll but our foam decks might blow off...

AJ....are you really going to try and compare a grounding with an AT and this particular instance.....come on now you have to be smarter than that. Was the AT on the same body of water in the same area in a turn or were they running along on plane going in a straight line? Also you may want to do a little more research on some things before speaking....Big Dan just started racing boats 4 or so years ago....his first race was in Michigan City. He was not racing boats back when the other incident occured. I also didn't recall any other owners razzing him in that thread but instead it was chain boaters. I am just glad that everyone was able to walk away from this incident unharmed! I have no issues with you or the Kid but let's not turn this into a quality issue. Hopefully you guys can make it up to Hardy Party this year.

Off topic, but speaking of brand loyalty isn't it ironic that sunsation owners use pictures of Fountain dashboards / mechanical indicators in their neat little how-to-drive manual? I guess they are trying to help people learn from the best v-bottoms around. Nuff said.

Where did you find that at....on the Sunsation Forum? If that is what you are referencing it was an owner posting information that he came across....it wasn't something that Sunsation hands out or promotes. I have all of the original paperwork that came with my boat and they sent the Mercury High Performance Drivers manual.

Hey didn't you know he wasn't just a factory worker but a structual engineer as well? LOL More whining coming soon as he just can't help himself! LOL
Think him and Daddys boy need some more love seat on time together on the AT to brainstorm their next braniac thoughts decifered from two pictures. Freakin hilarious!

BTW, I'm just messing with you boys. Don't take me to seriously. IT'S JUST THE INTERNET!

I was simply poking fun at the fact that every dominator that rolls just happens to come apart like a pretzel
as far as Dan goes, i never said that he was a racer at the time, just that he was not a rookie driver with no experience like all the thread bashers were saying. His credentials werent until a few years later... even says so on my shirt haha
Ohh and btw ZP'd... there are actually three pictures, BUT we wont post the third one, all it shows is a badly torn apart hull and two drives... that just happen to be pretty far down :P but it will remain in my email inbox. Stay tuned for my next ride its coming very shortly... but it doesnt have a side by side seating setup so you probably wouldnt want to ride... and dont be jealous KID doesnt have to pay any sort of living payment each month, Id take my mortgage payment any day of the week over being yelled at to clean my room each week
what kind of boat do you have anyway??

Kid still lives with his parents? I wonder if mommy packs him a lunch everyday!
