No I have a NA 502. My buddy has a SC 502 in his 253 Checkmate. 1996 and multi-colored. I call it the "Roy G. Biv" boat. LOL

[QUOTE=ajfisher;3710141]I was simply poking fun at the fact that every dominator that rolls just happens to come apart like a pretzel

I don't understand why you or any of the other naysayers on this thread think that it is unreasonable for any boat to have some type of damage after a stuff, spin out, rollover etc. and especially if the boat goes down. The boats have to be turned over and pumped out and then lifted out by a hoist with who knows how much water still in them. I see that you have a Powerplay now....I am a big fan of their boats but maybe you have not been around the boards long enough to recall the very tragic accident where a 33 Powerplay apparently stuffed and as a result of the accident 4 of the 5 passengers on boat were killed. The boat was pretty much destroyed with most of the deck and bow blown off. I don't care who the manufacturer is if a boat spins out, has a rollover or stuffs at a certain speed, angle etc. there is a good chance damage is going to result from it and people will most likely get hurt. I have listed a link below to the story on the accident.

LOL!!!

There were 2 PP's (1 race, 1 pleasure) that were involved in fatal accidents. Both were suspect of hitting the bottom after they were stuffed at high speed and blew apart.

You can look at the report if you want but from what I recall reading they said a fisherman was the only witness and he said they were running at a high rate of speed....the boat had 496 HO's in it. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest on this I was just trying to point out that if any boat flips, stuffs or rolls there is a good chance it is going to be damaged....I didn't talk about Powerplay's integrity. The Chicago group that we boat with is a pretty diverse group....with Outerlimits, Baja's, Cigs, Scarab's, Sonic's, Fountain's, Profiles and Sunsations all of which I like.
