You can look at the report if you want but from what I recall reading they said a fisherman was the only witness and he said they were running at a high rate of speed....the boat had 496 HO's in it. I'm not going to get into a pissing contest on this I was just trying to point out that if any boat flips, stuffs or rolls there is a good chance it is going to be damaged....I didn't talk about Powerplay's integrity. The Chicago group that we boat with is a pretty diverse group....with Outerlimits, Baja's, Cigs, Scarab's, Sonic's, Fountain's, Profiles and Sunsations all of which I like.

You will laugh your a** off at this but myself and a few buddies got into a 20 or so foot Bayliner at the age of 13 with a guy that we knew....it was a cuddy cabin and had the high back to back seats....halfway into our ride around the lake he told us to hold on while he cranked the wheel at about 40 MPH acting like it was a jetski or ski boat....it sent me flying into the engine hatch face first. Needless to say I got my bell rung and had a quarter size hunk of my inside lip hanging out of my mouth....I also get uneasy when in a boat with someone else and turn.

I was expecting this story to reveal jerry Sandusky as the driver. Wasn't quite sure where this story was going at first LOL

Hilarious SC288! Been there. My buddy at 18 had a MC Prostar 205 and he would either pin me against the side or I would go flying the other way, a few times so hard it would pop the winshield from the tracks! Ahh to be young and dumb again... lol

I don't understand why you or any of the other naysayers on this thread think that it is unreasonable for any boat to have some type of damage after a stuff, spin out, rollover etc. and especially if the boat goes down. The boats have to be turned over and pumped out and then lifted out by a hoist with who knows how much water still in them. I see that you have a Powerplay now....I am a big fan of their boats but maybe you have not been around the boards long enough to recall the very tragic accident where a 33 Powerplay apparently stuffed and as a result of the accident 4 of the 5 passengers on boat were killed.
yes i have heard of the powerplay accidents, hopefully by the time im done with this new 33 there wont have been three accidents!

PQ General Disc is my hometurf... thats where i report to

I'll post a thread up on PowerPlay when i get some new pics Thursday

LOL, you guys crack me up, this thread has certainly been entertaining!
One thing I can attest to, the moot is really shallow this year. Had a hell of a time getting out of there on saturday, not knowing my way around. Just could not find a spot deep enough to get on plane, idled damn near all the way out.
