Seems like this group would know! What poker runs are planned for next summer around the islands? I have a place on johnsons and saw a great group of go fast boats come through a few years ago.

Rebuilding my boat and thought if I had a date to shoot for it would motivate me!

I've been wondering the same. I know leopa does a fun run around the islands, least that's what I've heard. I'm surprised that there isn't some annual event that gets as much attention as the Cumberland poker run.

Maybe I'm missing something.

marine tech concepts use to have a run but they haven't had it in a few years. I have been asking them about it and thay keep saying that thay might have it again. Im hopeing for next year thay will have my motors done and ready for a poker run.

dont they do one out of the casino on kellys the week after labor day ??? i know labor day had been the golf cart poker run but i heard that this year might have been the last one of those

That figures, way to close to Boyne Thunder which I believe is July 13 and Xmas in July. I may skip Xmas in July next year, I love PIB but the crazyness of Xmas is getting to be to much.

We and I believe a lot of other people around columbus were going up to Charlevoix for the Boyne Thunder, may hit the LEOPA's Thunderfest on the way back... if there's gas in my tank.

I liked the small runs the best and they are long gone, Skramers weenie run in Mentor and RHC's fun run were the best poker runs I ever did, very simple, cheap and local...boy do I miss those days... best time ever..

Yea I agree. I had the more fun on marine techs run than any of the other three I have done. I too wish someone would put one together around the islands. That July 20 weekend would be good because I know I am off that weekend already lol.

I keep talking to the people at marie tech and thay say that there is a chance thay might have it again
