Hardcore PIB party Pirates?!
OK..due to my career taking me away from home for months at a time and many mechanical issues with my boat this season when I was around I do believe I am ready to go boating when I eturn..IN OCTOBER
If the weather is good I plan on being on my boat at PIB for Haloween to start and end my season
So whos with me for a final (and unfortunately for me) only wild weekend on the Bay?!

Think I am going this weekend (22nd). If the weather holds out. Meeting up with some friends that are going by jet express from ford yacht club. It is the annual AYC PIB trip. With water levels low, the jet express might come up to Wyandotte yacht club to pick everyone up as ford yacht club can get shallow..... If weather holds out we will be there this weekend. But I doubt I will make Halloween. Boat will most likely be in storage by then....

Do they do that every year with the Jet Express? That would actually be a pretty cool ride from up there over to PIB.
It's usually 50's and wind blowing hard. The last time I was over for Halloween there were 2 boats in the marina. That being said, seriously considering doing it myself this year, depending on if my friends with the mothership make it over or not.

Ohio trip planned for end of October/first of November. Airline tickets are bought but I'm thinking of towing the boat ahead of time but not sold on risks of the weather.
When I lived up there, I tried doing the Halloween thing many times and only made it by ferry.
Checked average temps for that time of yr and area and it says highs in mid 50's to mid 60's w/lows in the 40's/50's. From experience though I (we) know it could be 80 and sunny or 15 and blowing! Took the ferry over on one new yrs (after doing the Walleye Drop in P.C.) to watch the bowl games and ended up spending the night there. One of my favorite PIB trips.
I've been @ PIB before where I was the only boat there and it snowed. (pix's somewhere) Watched the Clinton/Bush/Perot debate at the Beer Barrel
45* air, 55* water, 25 mph wind, and 5's - 7's........, yep, sounds like home
We'll see.
