maybe......depends on which direction.

We pulled the camper up to munising last spring summer. Camped at the city campground right on the shore, it was fantastic. Had fun exploring the area, especially just west in the bay there by the old furnace. We also rented a pontoon boat and did pictured rocks and viewed one of the shipwrecks. Looked like we were going to hit huge rocks, but they were down there, water clarity confuses you.

Trip out was great, water was painfully cold, but the wind changed and we came back wIth spray breaking over the front. Made me nervous as you are a good distance from hore when cutting over to grand island at one point.

Fun area, all the kids want to go back.
