Reaching out again. There was a perfect place out by me, but the guy won't call back (storage condos only a few years old). They must all be sold out, or he is horrible at doing business.

Dennis, any news on that building on Hawke road? Would they be willing to do a 6 month or 1 year commitment? Also, the building on Jaycox wouldn't be terrible for me as I am in Olmsted Falls. Avon Lake is a bit of a stretch, and may deter me being able to just "pop in" for 15 minutes, know what I mean?

I'll keep looking. I have another friend without a garage that would like some bike storage..... I will post up if I fins something that would be too big for just me, would be cool to have a couple boats in a "man cave". Would make the winter months go by quicker.

I did talk with the guy on Hawke road and although the building isn't rented currently, he wants a LONG TERM lease and wasn't even interested in talking about anything less than a year. He never even mentioned what he wants for a lease cost. Seemed kind of put off by the whole thing. I will check again just for information purpose if nothing else.

I do have a number for the guy with the storage condo. The have PLENTY of room inside and he has several units. Also a boater so it kind of made it easy. He too would rather have a long term lease, but since winter is coming, some income is better than none.

I did rent one of his spaces for my boat, and he is putting one of his in the unit as well. There is still more room, so if your friend wants to put his motorcycle in with our stuff, I'm sure he would be accommodating.

The units are super clean, lighted, heated and very secure. I plan on doing some changes over the winter and he has already provided security codes and keys so I'm able to do what I need at any time.

Although it's not around the corner from you, it is still the closest that I could find that had the right amount of space.

Where did you end up? It's either that, or rent up near Sandusky at this point. The guy with the motorcycle is in Hinckley/Medina, so it would be location prohibitive for him, thanks for the offer though.

Id be in for something like this for next year. I just gave up and had her wrapped for this winter. Im located right down the road in Strongsville.

I hooked up with the guy from the storage condos on Pin Oak in Avon Lake. Yes, contracts and all above board. No internet bullsh##. Stand up guy. He has another unit available I believe.

I too wanted to get a larger building to store toys, but either too late in the season, or not enough interest from people.

I had one other interested in joining in, but my thought was if we had four or five people interested, we could go for a larger building/warehouse to work/store in....

Although I have the property large enough to build, the city won't allow it....

Let's work on this so we can pool resources.

I don't have any contact info but I know alot guys rent at the old Lorain Ford p;ant at Baumhart and Lake Rd. They let you work on em too. Heated
