I did tell him to either sit or stand and hold on to the grab bar. didn't think he would do both.

That would never be allowed on my boat. Everyone must be seated and have at least one hand on a grab bar if I'm going fast. If they don't do it then I'll slow down and correct them. I'm responsible for the lives of everyone on board. Crossing Lake Erie in a 22' boat can be an adventure. It's a real treat when the Lake isn't kicking up but one time I had to idle through 6-8 footers for 20 miles before it calmed down to 4s and I could plane out. There was a small craft advisory. That made for a long, hairy trip!

that was the first time ever that I had someone that tried to sit up on the deck like that on any of my boats and I learned form it to seeing the video. the waves where coming at a weird angel and didn't want to catch one wrong.
