That is the best idea I have Hurd in a long time. If there were a few weekends a year they did that I would probably start going again.

3 yrs ago we took the Sonny S over from Middle Bass and it was insane!
Brothers everywhere (looking for trouble) and I felt was a ticking time bomb.
We back to the quiet of Middle Bass an hr later and heard the next morning that there was a gang related stabbing just after we left.

I started hearing stories of buses bringing down Detroit locals to take the ferry over.

This summer I just happened to be at the Walmart by our boat (on way to Miller dock) and the parking lot was full of empty tour buses.
I counted 21 of them!!

IMO, PIB has been on the edge of bursting into flames for the last 10 yrs.
Very early season or very late is only way we’ll go.

I had not heard about the Detroit radio add’s???
I heard the progressive/activist group the “Tides Foundation” was behind it to preach social equality.

By private boat, you either have to have your own group to raft together, or dock somewhere other than city docks.
W/the mandatory rafting, I’ve had too many drinks stumble across my boats and idiots try to raft off of me.
Which again, is mandatory.

Was on one of my old cruisers one time when a boat load of drunken fisherman tried to raft off me w/no bumpers!

If you want to do the Bay, my suggestion is go to the new/gorgeous marina on Middle Bass (way cool bar across street) and take the ferry over.

Exactly, I think Christmas has been cancelled for three years now. They need to stop the ferries that weekend.
