Put-in-Bay Christmas in july
I wanna check out Christmas in july this year at Put-in-Bay and dock space seems to be gone already. Anyone going to it? Any tips for getting a space? One place I called said to dock at Middle Bass and ferry over but that seems to defeat the purpose of having a boat. Public docks and the floating balls are all 1st come/1st serve. Park place doesn't take weekend reservations from non-members. The yacht club put me on a waiting list but said don't hold ur breath as there are rarely cancelations. Lastly, Miller Marina isn't answering the phone yet. Any help would be appreciated!

Too crazy for me man. I like to go on weekdays when I can get a transient slip at the Boardwalk and have a little elbow room on the Island. The only event I usually go to is the Bartender Olympics toward the end of the season. I agree about not going by boat. That's the whole point for me!

I don't go to pib haven't been in 3 or so years we like Kelleys wayyyyyy better. But I do know if you try to get a spot at the bay on a holiday weekend get to the city docks at 10 am and by 11 most of the time a spot will open up somewhere.

Also with them making it two weekends in a row in stead of one it don't seam to get as packed as it used too. I know people that went over last year from ki for a few hours in the middle of the day and didn't have any problems finding a spot.

It's great people watching for sure...we will be there on B Dock. Stop and say hello. If you arrive early, you should be able to find a spot or a ball. We have done Mddlebass as well, and it's not too bad. Short ferry ride.
