I already have the drives....#6....we are working with a munufacture right now on a new engine program for them....
we may be building there first with our package.....we meet the last week of Aug to discuss it....we would like to at least be putting out 850 to 900hp....the boats is running great...it took us a while to get her balanced and we already new she was a great ruff water boat...but we got her running great in the clam now to....even with the 1:5 gears with some big props she will run 103....if we put on the 1:35's we feel she would run around 107 + but its not a good gear to race with because of the acceration times....we did try the Imco shorty and she runs 105.6 with the 1:50 gear and big props....but we didn't need to spend the 7k since we are running in a 95 mph class
I think she will eat some boats up with the big power....at 93 mph in 5 footers she handles like a dream...there is so much more room for more speed and still be able to be driven....our goal is 110 in the big water and 130 in the calm....

Interesting... What would the price be with 662s? I think the boat deserves a better interior and a better paint job. It is more "european" than any of it's rivals. i have worked with Fountain in Norway for 4 years, and the reason why US power boats sells way lower than european boats here is because of their looks and image. I know what is needed to get them to sell better...

This boat look a lot better than what I have seen before. Think of the difference i mentioned as the difference from a Pontiac Firebird and a Porsche. Both with big engines and sound, just different. Europeans think that all american power boats have a lot of wild paint. That just don't sell over here!! Dragon is the most "european" (cleanest) of all the US build powerboats.
