Last Monday and Tuesday my wife and I were at the Hustler factory. Joe gave us a tour of his factory and we were impressed as to his committment to detail and quality. Joe himself is involved with every boat through out the entire build process. Tuesday morning Joe took us out on the 41 Razor in 25-30 mph winds with 3ft. plus white cap wind waves, the Razor was rock solid stable in all directions over the big waves going over 97MPH. We signed and shook hands. Our new Razor should be in California with 2-3 weeks. We can't hardly wait to get it!

Thanks to Joe and his team for building such a awesome and beautiful boat and to all his hospitality!

Greg & Samantha

Suppose to be picked up from Hustler today by the trucking company, on a flat bed and start its journey across the USA. Being delivered to Extreme Trailer in Riverside, CA where they need the boat to finish the bunk placements and then we are off to Lake Mead with the family for our first trip.

We can't hardly wait!

Our Razor arrived at Extreme Trailer in Riverside, CA this last Thursday morning. My wife and I immediately drove over to see it when we got the call. Besides being dirty from the long haul, it was Beautiful! Extreme will try to have the trailer done by Tuesday July 3rd, so that we can enjoy it from the 4th thru the following weekend. We are keeping our fingers crossed!

BeetleJuice,
Hate to bother you, but I've been checking in daily and patiently awaiting your thoughts about the new ride. How's she running?
Thanks,
Nick

BeetleJuice 07-11-2007 09:03 PM

I'm sorry for not replying earlier. I have been so busy with the new boat, preparing for next weekend Catalina Ski Race and also at the office, so much going on, I feel overwhelmed.

The Razor is awesome! We have done two Catalina runs and one Newport Harbor overnighter on the 4th. All three times the ocean conditions have been ruff and sloopy with swells and the Razor comfortably and solidly cruises over it! I have not tried for a top speed run, just learning the boat and getting a feel for everything. The overnighter with all the amenities was great! Everyone that has seen, been in or rode in the Razor comments on how awesome it is or how great the ride is in the ruff stuff!

My wife and I are excited and can't hardly wait to go out in it again this weekend. Saturday practice run with our skier and Sunday pleasure run with the family. After next Saturdays Catalina Ski Race I will let everyone know how we did and how the boat performed.

It was great to see your boat in person great - It is huge!! Congrats and I'll see you on Fri in Long Beach.

We took a 1st place in our class "Veteran Men" age group 35-44 this last Saturday in the Catalina Ski Race. Our time 1 hour and 7 minutes with a fall at the turn boat in Avalon, which cost us several minutes.

The Razor not only blew thru the waves and chop like it wasn't there it also flattened out a beautiful wake for our skier!
