I love this boat. The 41 or 50 will be my next boat.

Congrats Greg.

I saw your old 388 a few days ago. A guy I know here has it, but he is trying to sell it now. I still love that 388 you had and it still looks great.

Your new boat looks awesome and the interior is amazing.

Congrats again.

I have not gone for a light loaded all out run to see what speed I can reach.

92MPH at the Big Cat Poker Run Aug. 11th with 7 guys aboard and near full tank of gas and five big soft ice chests filled with beer, water and ice.

Scope run I averaged 75MPH, occasionally going over 80MPH when water conditions permitted.

Before I purchased the boat, getting a test ride in it with Joe from Hustler driving it, with our wives, total four people aboard and with about 80 gallons of gas, about a third tank, we hit 98MPH.

Post from 2007

BeetleJuice, Saw a post of yours from 2007 where you bought a 388 directly from Hustler, and had Joe cut out 18 inches of the strakes. Wondering what drives you were using at the time? Plus if you liked the results.
I have a 2000 Hustler 388 Poker run edition which is in the shop right now, want them to do it, but they told me they talked to Joe, and he said NOT to do it on a bravo boat, it will make it porpoise.
Any info would be greatly apprecited.
Thanks
Bill
