I've had them for five years now, no problems, good communications, fair prices, they also reduce your deductible each year you go without a claim.

No longer writing policies for boats over 30 ft or valued more than 100K.

They used to have 75 mph and 830 total HP (415 X 2) limits.

Prices are very competitive if you fit into their limitations.

they insured my 32 also. I had a vandolim claim and they were good about paying it then they dumped me. The 75M.P.H. thing. They needed to talk to someone at Fountain and in doing that found out the speed of the boat. Actually I think it was 70 M.P.H. limit thought. I didnt understand it but oh well. Why pay a 20,000 claim then dumb the person? So to anwser your question.....I had good luck with them HOWEVER be carefull....the adjuster I had was cool and he explained to me that I was LUCKY that they covered my claim.

I've had two major claims with them and they paid both. 27 Fountain, single 502.

First claim was a blown motor (seaweed, overheating, went down as an at-fault accident). Second claim was a serious accident (not my fault). They paid both promptly and haven't dropped me yet (knock on wood)

You will not believe what they will insure to 90mph....a Bass Boat. A kitchen table with 300 hp! It must be a "claims" thing.
