State Farm doesn't want to insure high performance boats. At first they were overlooking the Baja because it wasn't on their "list" but later came back and said they wouldn't even insure a 25 Outlaw. The whole deal really pissed me off. Haven't made up my mind yet but theres a good chance I'll be pulling all my other business from State Farm.

my little boat is insured through American family and shows a posted speed of 80 mph... they dont write over 50 mph for " ski boats" and my hull classifies as a ski boat... so i said i was a speed skiier and they wrote it with a push from the agent.... agent is 90% of the battle..
