Hello All-

I am looking at a 1999 30 spectre and am I having a hard time finding insurance. I live in Florida, 10 years boating experience but no Cat experience, 26 yrs old, good driving record and great credit.

If anyone can help me out let me know.

This is a tough one. My only market for "Cat Insurance" is through Markel and as you have already discovered, they will not insure pre 2001 Spectras.

Have you tried World Wide?

I used to have a 98 30' Spectre and my local State Farm agent insured it...the guy I sold it to has it through them also.
It was pretty easy for us to insure since the value wasn't all that high??
