I went through a local credit union. No money down and 100% on 8 years for an 89 sonic 31. Interest rate was 6.25 with a credit score of 741

Essex says 30% down excellent credit and a LOW DTI ratio. On anything over 100k Lots of Cash in the bank and they will give it a try

i went through essex with my last loan, no issues getting the loan, had a issue with the sales tax, but when I went to sell it they were difficult to deal with, the customer service people dont have extensions so every time you call you are talking to a different person, I must have faxed thing 3-4 times before they said they got it. Essex is owned by Bank of the West

I had my local bank work my deal. Had to put 30% down and they would only go 10 yrs on the loan at 7%. Credit score ~788 2007 Donzi 38ZR 700's.
I know I will NEVER do another 20 yr boat loan. With my last boat I lost so much over the 4 yrs, that I could have bought a new boat. I would say don't do a 20 yr unless you plan on owning the boat forever.
