The customer (Enzo) is rigging. We installed the Premier sit downs and we'll have the new custom back seat from Premier early next week. I know Enzo bought a bunch of stuff from Trick. I'm as excited as the customer.

Sweet......Inzo has some very nice hardware on the way to finish the boat. :)

The hull looks great!

I have seen that yellow boat in person at several stages along the way. I saw it with the interior bolsters in it last week and it will be an awesome boat when rigged and running.

Now get the next one done....................... :D

I like how the deck hatches are fiberglass and fit flush with the deck.

We're such a small company , we haven't had the opportunity to rig a boat with every bell and whistle(mostly race boats built). Hopefully that day is around the corner. We took this boat to Premier Performance Interiors in Sarasota and they made templates for future complete interiors. Many thanks to Trick , Jim @ Premier, this board and my silent partner David Goode who lurks here often!

I've been to PPI, they make some nice stuff there. I had them make a couple seats for my Donzi there. They do the interiors for several manufactorers.

Power will be 800+ HP. A customer of mine went 104 mph w/ 850. Should be fast.

Be sure and get some good shots of the interior - finished. Curious to see what the room and layout will look like.

Looks awesome so far.

I did see that. I was just making one of my typical "smart-ass" comments, and it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. If I could figure out how to squeeze one of Brian's boats into my budget, I would. I like the structural design used and it looks very effective for maintaining hull integrity in rough water conditions. I also like the flush deck hatch design. It compliments the boat nicely.

Re: new 28 Joker

Yea we're curious too - haha. Never had a back seat like this one installed. This boat will not have coaming pads ,etc. Premier made the templates but we chose not to put them in this boat.

Re: new 28 Joker

It's funny we're R&D'ing interiors , seats etc. We've been eating up big water for a long time. My plan was always to prove ourselves 1st in racing and then develop the bling stuff. I am one proud papa. Thanks for all the comments. Oh yea and my hat is off to Warren and Mack for their great win in Ocean City. That was unbelieveable.

Go to racers milling and then to OPA / ORL . Watch the video of the finish. Probally the closest finish in history.

Brian, The boat and interior look sweet. PPI did the interior for an Apache I restored. Jim is a great guy to deal with. They are usually very busy, so it was great they helped a one off guy like me.

What motors have you tested in your boat? As a suggestion, consider building a basic boat with perhaps a 496 HO , and price it right. Superboat builds their 30' Y2K that way and they have a wait list.

Re: new 28 Joker

SuncoastDave:

Speeds with a 500 efi are high 70's , like 78.9 to be exact when I raced Factory 1. That's at race weight though. Should see close to 83-84 w/ 525(never had a 525 in our boat). The 28 Joker is a serious rough water boat though , runs more like a 35 footer due to the cockpit set back. Check PM.

Dave
I don't have the new JOKER, but I have the predecessor to it when it was built as PROTOTYPE. It's rigged with a 500efi and full interior -cocpit/cabin. Speeds are 74-75gps with 1/2 tank gas, rafts, clothes, cooler etc. The boat handles exceptionally well in rough water. I would NOT HESITATE to buy a new JOKER in the future especially with the improvements Brian has implemented. That interior is outstanding! Wouldn't mind upgrading to that this winter.

By the way...we're in the middle of a new motor build up for the boat to install this winter. 550+ cu.in. + 1071blower=850-900HP. Can't wait to see how she runs. Just picked up an extension box as well.

Sounds Great! Will do. Hopefully you'll be able to do the live band deal, and have some adult beverages available as well!

Take Care
