Sadly no.....I haven't touched it yet. Still trying to get a plan together for the cuddy. Also getting my motor plans together as well.

Philm 12-22-2009 09:07 AM

Well get on it already.:drink:

I want to see some progress by the time I get back.

Any idea when you'll be back?

Philm 12-23-2009 10:06 AM

Right now it looks like I will be riding all the way to the Gulf, instead of getting off in Barbados, so if that happens, it will be somewhere around January 20th.

I cant complain too much though considering what my day rate is.:drink: Those two extra weeks will pay for the motor repairs.

jdub 12-24-2009 06:45 AM

cool.....well we better get that motor out because spring will only be a few months away when you get back :drink:

That would be a blast. i would offer my launch ramp and parking. Seneca Lake is a nice big lake. There is not a ton to do but there are a few places to eat and stop for a drink or two, also a warm water outlet we could anchor and swim early in the season. Just an option. Let me know when I would love to plan the day off.

TeamSaris 12-26-2009 10:32 AM

Sounds good to me, always heard good things about Seneca

jdub 12-26-2009 01:23 PM

Sounds good to me too. I'm sure Phil would be in also. Phil and I do are boating in the Chesapeake Bay. If you guys have never been it's some of the best boating around. Tons of places to go. I know of three Kryptonite's in our area. Plus dozens of other guys with some nice hardware. Either way I'm in.

Mastercraft240 12-26-2009 03:46 PM

I'm in....

DonRoc 12-26-2009 09:19 PM

We should finalize the place and time within the next few months. And make it happen. Would we want an overnight or a day trip?

lightspeed 12-26-2009 09:23 PM

I Would Be In For That///////////////////////

Itd be a 4 hr ride fr us.....overnight please lol

Philm 12-27-2009 09:29 PM

Well thanks for volunteering me John :drink:

I am in for an overnight trip up there, as long as I can get myself all fixed up before then. Right now I cannot schedule anything that far in advance, because I am unsure of what my schedule will be with the new job.

And as John said, anytime you guys want to come down and take a ride in the Bay, just let me know.

jdub 12-28-2009 12:16 PM

No problem Phil :drink:

Sounds like we can put something together. It's about 5 hours for me so overnight would probably be best.

TeamSaris 12-28-2009 04:52 PM

Im in

DonRoc 12-28-2009 10:04 PM

Seneca Lake

There is a restaurant/ hotel about 15 miles up the lake from me that could work (The Showboat in Himrod, NY) the SBPA uses them for there poker run, they have some slips and mooring, There are a bunch of places in Watkins Glen but no slips to speak of we could pull out at my place then drive or walk depending on our condition a few blocks to a hotel. The other option is the Village Marina they have transient slips and we could walk to a hotel. There is the http://www.watkinsglenharborhotel.com/ the slips are right in front of it.
On the North end is the Ramadan in Geneva on the lake and usually a band on Saturdays, mooring may be an issue, there is a dock but its usually packed.
The other option is sleep on the boats, see what bands are playing and do whatever works.
I am open to about anything, If Phil and John want to do it on the Chesapeake Bay that would be fine also. the important thing is we all seem to want to do something. The details we can work out in the next 3-4 months. Lets throw out some ideas and pick what seems like the best.

TeamSaris 12-28-2009 10:08 PM

Ive always wanted to go to Seneca but Im down for anything

jdub 12-29-2009 10:11 AM

Same here I'll do either. I will say that there is always some type of fun run going on in the spring on the Chesapeake. We could just show up with 5-6 Kryptonite's to something like that. That would be kinda cool. Or we could just put in here http://www.nautigoosesaloon.com/ and run to here http://www.redeyedockbar.com/ Plus there are plenty of places to stop in between the run. I know you guys would love it. There is a hotel a couple miles from the ramp. But the lake seems like fun also. I guess it depends on what everyone wants to do.

Philm 12-29-2009 11:40 AM

The Goose has a decent ramp, $10 ramp fee, plenty of trailer parking, good food, usually a live band playing on the weekends. I am not sure about hotels in the area because I live like 20 minutes from there, but I am sure there are some.

The boating destinations on the chesapeake bay are fantastic. I am always open to running new locations though, so as long as my motor is fixed by the time we set this all up, I am down for anything.

Don, you will just have to make sure you leave a bit later than the rest of us if you have that monster motor finished by then.:drink:

TeamSaris 12-29-2009 05:51 PM

HAppy new year John...and to the Kryp crew :drink:

Dr. Dan 12-30-2009 04:41 PM

Holy Smokes Batman!

:sport009: Wow I don't talk to John for a few weeks and the world changes... very cool. Even though I have seen the Kryptonite before ...never really saw alot of pics of it, I like the all white hull.

Holden is a great guy... I am sure it will be great when you are done, I loved the Saber.

If I put a Decal over my Pantera logo can I join your Krypto Run? I promise I play well with others?

Looking forward to getting together.... of course I am biased for a Chesapeake Bay Run ... once you've had the best, it's tough to beat. All though I do drag my boats to Lake George and Winni a couple times a season.

1000 Islands is great too...beautiful scenery....short season.

Good Luck Jdub...talk soon.

Danny & Liz :drink:

jdub 12-30-2009 05:51 PM

What's up Danny? No need for the sticker.....you know your welcomed. Check your phone.....we'll put something together.

Gary D 12-30-2009 09:05 PM

Dam they don't make a decal big enough to cover up the american flag. AHHHH i wouldn't do that since the only thing J DUB will see is the back of the boat, LOL. I am in for any run once i get her straightened out...:lolhit:

DonRoc 12-30-2009 10:31 PM

Bring it, you can never have too many boats, nice flag, love it

Philm 12-31-2009 10:43 AM

Of course, the more boats that show up, the slower all us Kryptonite guys will have to go so they can keep up....:party-smiley-004:

Johnny Bravo - don't make me finish the little boat early, might not be the fastest top end, but it will surely get there in a hurry.... you can thank Holden for that? :angry-smiley-044:

Then again if Santa brings me all my toys....by Spring... who knows who's gonna see what transom?

It's only money :drink:

I might be able to recruit a few slow boats to keep Gary and I company... let's see how things go.

Danny Boy :sport009:

Yo J DUB, I guess i can't talk to much smack since the last time i was out Danny had to tow me in, LOL!!! Should be a good season of boating ready to do some runs even if i gotta hang in the back... But you can't blam a guy for dreaming about running in the front. LOL...:evilb:

Hahaha....your right. I don't think you'll have to worry about being in the back to much with that beast of yours! To be fair you should have got a shot at the title when I had the Saber.......but we'll have to see about this one :evilb:

Dr. Dan 01-02-2010 03:08 PM

:drink: Gary if we're slow compared to his Kryptonite this season...we just have to wait til next year? Cuz he'll sell it and get a slower boat....more than likely?

Danny Boy :drink:

jdub 01-02-2010 04:07 PM

Touche' Danny boy.....touche' :D
