The EFI manifold is used but saved me a grand.... I am sure to find a way to spend it.

Default Fuel pickup

I am installing the fuel system and some new gauges in anticipation of the motor getting off the dyno very soon... The pump is a Aeromotive Eliminator, the gauges are boost and fuel pressure. here are some pics of the monster pickup... you know when the suction side of the pump is -12 (3/4") the 3/8" stock pickup will just not do.... 3//8...3/4.. doesn't sound like much but next to each other WOW is all I can say...

Its all trimmed, angle cut and deburred, I took the picture before I sized and angle cut it...
I have the new hole cut in the fuel tank for the pickup, and the fuel system mocked up. Tomorrow it should be done. I have the electrical side about ready also its a dual relay system. This weekend I plan to move some gauges around and install the fuel and boost. I will post some more pics over the weekend..

I talked to your dad today, looks like I may come up Monday or Tuesday to do some more assembly. Then the next Monday and Tuesday hoping to be on the dyno and maybe install the motor. new gauges going in the boat Friday (fuel pressure and boost). Also need to finish up the electrical portion of the fuel system. The marina has been really busy, looks like a great start to the year...
Here is one before paint, the zinc chromate was covered with black for the short block, all the accessories that are not polished will be metal flake purple. (like the intake and brackets) I love aluminum heads and all the bling but it only lasts a few weeks then its all oxidized and looking like crap. There will be plenty with the Procharger and brackets.. IMCO is making the adapters for the ITS so that's in a holding pattern but should be about the same time the motor is ready a few weeks. I want to try it with the SC drive to compare speed and handling anyway.
Between this, the marina doing great, and the upcoming party June 26th I am just pumped.

Ps: I love the valve covers, the custom red tint on top and at only $350 for the pair what a cool look...
Joking, they are just there for the paint....
