As far as speeds , this boat weighs in at around 4200 lbs wet -
500 EFI ran 81 mph
540 ci /600 hp ran 87 mph (never dynod )
The labbed 4 blade hydro is the best prop to run on this boat -the boat needs a little transom lift to air out the step - too much lift and yes it will walk -
Really depends on what you are doing with the boat - to fly off 4-6 footers at 75 mph , the hydro keeps her flying level with less ballast up front .

Johhny,
Hope you and your dad kick some serious #ass#.
The boat ran ok with a 24 B1 stock , ad a 26 B1 stock also .
Randy Schleuss from Typhoon turned me to the hydro 4 blade . Throttle up labbed them - they also turned down the OD by 1/2" . the hydro loosened up the boat a little , with little or no chine walk at top speed - chine walk is loose, loose is fast , nice !
To keep the boats under 75 (which is hard to do ) , we ran 23 or 24 pitch hydros cut down -
I ran one of Randys 27 " Hydros , labbed from TU.
Incredible acceleration from bottom to top, ran 86 to 87 mph at around 5700 as i remember . Randy swears by them -
The Krypto hull is very efficient up top , and you dont need much blade surface to get the speed - te smaller blade surface acts like a higher stall converter also for engines with less torque and high RPM.
The 5 blades give too much transom lift - never used em, never liked em - some boats love them -
Hope you and your dad kick some serious #ass#.
