Fred, what do you figure a Latitude with engines, arch and equipment weighs?

Nkosi,
Approximately 7000lbs dry with twins and 7500lbs dry with triples. The fuel tank is 250 gallons @ 7lbs a gallon is an additional 1750lbs plus gear. I would say heavily loaded it would be safely in the 10000lb range. I saw you lift questions and I would recommend nothing smaller than 10000lb but would safely say 12000lb lift would be the one I would buy.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Fred. Thinking about an airdock. Any experience with them?

Sorry, never had any experience with the air docks. I have only used piling mounted boat lifts.

a guy around here had an air dock for his 32 sunny and it worked great, he had a custom one built for his 43 sunny and the front bag let go, he might still have the one for the 32 to sell but this was a couple yrs ago, I think he goes by megstoytoo

Thanks Fred. I would actually prefer one of those but I am working with very shallow water. Plus the prices I am seeing could almost buy me another boat

Thanks Pete. Do you know what happened when the front bag let go? Did the boat sink or just slide off or just list to the front awkwardly? I'll see if I can track him down...

Pete, just found this thread from back in 2008. So I guess he sold it

Fred, sorry for kidnapping your Latitude forum. You can have it back now

"Just bought one used from Craig (MegsToyToo) for my 32'. Haven't used it yet, however everything I've read about them has been positive. I know he bought a brand new one to hold his new $500,000 42' Sunsation F-4.....so he must of liked the one he sold me for the Dominator! "
