It is interesting to finally see someone on the Lavey section. I have a 27 bow rider Lavey cat, Whipple 565. Lavey boats are still just one of the finest made boats available. There are others but Lavey is my favorite. I am contemplating selling my cat (110 mph) for something more tame, preferable another Lavey.

I talked with Chris Camire today and I am considering a 2750 V walk thru bow rider. If anyone is interested in my boat just PM me. I think Kevin Cooper might be in for some more rough water this week end in Destin. I hope things go safely for everyone.

What type of power are you runnung in your cat?

I have a 2750 walk through and could not be happier. Mine does not porpoise at any speeds. Just curious as to what kind of speeds your getting hot lavey with the whipple set up.

im not sure if there has been there has been minor tweaks to the bottom, i would suspect its possible. mine is an 06. i have run 80 at 5400 in perfect conditions (525 stock 26 bravo). I just picked up a labbed 28 and haven't been able to run numbers yet. It might be irrelavant, but is your boat vacuum bagged?

I like the 2750V also, good speeds for the power fora deck boat. What price range do they go for? CanDo
