Sweet!!! Do the other evo's has those tall rear seats? I don't remember the others having the seats stick up so high.

What numbers did you see?

My point was that OL did not set the boat up, I'm sure they could get it up to run faster, who knows they maybe they think it would be better with a scx too. The prop is very high on the bravo boats I think just 1" below the bottom.

That evo should fly, if its giving up too much speed with SCX why not run a SC lower? at 725hp the SC lower should survive fine, its the uppers that have so many problems. Good luck

No this boat has high back seats. The other evos seat backs are about 5-6" lower. These seats are made by Twisted Stitch. They're the same suspension seats you would use in a UTV or sandcar.

The lake was a bit busy for full speed runs. They only ran the motor up to 5500rpm and got it up to 90mph with a 30* Merc lab bravo1 propeller. So the motor has about 700-800 more rpm left. With more prop testing and full rpm it should clip 100mph

This EVO is running SCX upper with -2 SC lower. X dimension is around 1" below the bottom.

They're super comfortable and also have seat heaters! The boat is going to Germany and the weather gets pretty cold over there.

I think the SCX is being selected because its expected to take a beating in its native environment- Ive seen a few clips of these Germans and from what Ive seen they aren't holding back on the sticks.

- the comprise in this case will likely be a bit of speed as others have reported but the famous Bravo "Snap and clank" gets dealt with.

well see soon enough.
