Default 1982 23 ft Super Cruiser repower

working on a repower plan for a friend on his 1982 Lavey craft Super Cruiser day cruiser

has the original SBC/ OMC stringer setup

hes lookin at a 6.2 Direct injection 440 HP LS / bravo rerig..

the question is... being the boat will be approx mid 70 mph capable
and there is ability to raise the X before the package goes in under the hatch

should the X be made +2 or just plan on a shorty later if 70 isnt enough in the future??

If you are close to Corona CA bring the boat by to Lavey Craft. I am sure they would be able to help you out with parts and needs and info. Best to do it once and be done with it.

Midvalley - Chris doesn't come on here and the Navy keeps Jr. on and off.

Package this up in an Email to [email protected] and give him a day or so.

If anyone knows it will be Sr. I dont know squat about these older models.

im one of the better NW regions techs so its pretty well a matter of where to set the jig to do the cut out.. with a stock OMC/350 it does 62... so its already been tweeked on pretty good.. since most of those older hulls pretty well stopped at 50..
