Hello Aaron

Was always purple and white,, just redid it is all in new Imron and redid the deck insert in purple after the clear that covered the wood look cracked, also changed the bubble vent to a flat hatch.
Transome was black to make changes easier and not to try and color match the purple every time.
all the cockpit was down in new Purple/White stripes cushions and a new 3 man bolster set up.

There was a Damm Magnum boat that was running around for a while in the 70s, think it was yellow also. have to look thru some old race programs or old Powerboat magazines and see if I can find it.

Hello Lucky Strike

The only Yellow Magnum sport that I remember that use to run around on the Bay in Jersey was Bub Crisp's Rated X and I thought there was a Hairy Canary Magnum Sport also. Was a long time ago.

Thank you
Jim

JIm I grew up on the bay. I looked at a yellow sport in Florida called Dam Magnum but bought a blue one instead the year was 1974. I then sold the blue sport called Commotion to Roger Munn's brother-in-law Gary. Then moved on to a 28 Cigarette.

That was a long time ago ! It was great growing up at the shore !!

Steve

Hello Steve (Lucky Strike)
How are you doing?
Yes, I remember you now, with the 28 Cig. Berk's Law??? Nice Boat.
I was good friends with the late Jeff Galante.
The Blue Magnum Sport was a nice boat, only remember when Gary had it, Roger and Gary did a bunch of work on mine when they were in Garfield and then in Brick.

Yes, the shore was a great place to grow up and play. A lot of fun times
on the Bay. I moved to Boston for 13 yr and now been out in Ca for 11 yrs. Not many Magnums out here, couple of very nice ones. but not many like on the east coast. Love to find out what happened to my old one?

Thanks for the note.
Jim

I knew Jeff G

Good guy. The Magnum ( orange ) was the original Magnum Force.

He was part of the original NJOPRA. Every month we had a meeting at the Bay Bridge Inn at the foot of the Seaside Bridge. in Toms River N.J.
The good old days ! when life was simple. !!!!!! I"m honored that you remembered " BERKS LAW "

Yes, my father had the Hairy Canary for the past 19 years, he sold it in June 2005. The new owner is in Brick, NJ area/Barnegat Bay. That Magnum was a great boat!
