Have a buddy of mine that just put a 620 hp engine in a 27 Mag sport with a bravo. What prop do yall recommend him and what kind of speeds yall think he will be seeing. Thanks in advance

I figure he should do 86...but he has to put in an Arneson ASD6 Drive instead of that Bravo...I don't think that Bravo will hold up.

i'd put my money on hitting mid 80's.
my buddy's got a magnum with twin 383's 400hp a piece and he's hit 72.

If ya want to hit 86, you can do it if you add a Paxton blower. It'll give you another 250 HP for only $1500, and your boat is already 900# lighter than a twin.

I'm putting a 625 Ilmor in my Sport with a blower for 875 HP, and an Arneson SD. The Ilmor saves me another 300#, and I'm sure I'll break 100... if not... probably 99.
