I fell in love with an upside down boat...On a sales call in the late 80's my eyes caught her classic hull, I went to investigate what kind of boat it that??? It was a 27 Magnum being restored and "not for sale" But the hook was set... Some 12 yrs later at the 1,000 Island Poker Run, my 12yr old son pulled me by the arm to see the boat of his dreams...It was an Aero Marine??? her lines proved to me the apple did'nt fall far from the tree. He begged me to buy it, but thanks to the boat God it was'nt for sale. 3yrs later while out with friends I told the story. They knew of a Magnum just 3 miles away that 6 yrs ago was stripped bare and left for dead. The next day we bought her the "real deal" a 27' Magnum Sport.

Aaron - Yep, its me... boat is going great, drives, tabs, engines all in... Just did the cleats and lights so I can rig electrical wires, cables, hyd. lines.... a bunch of work, hope this is my year - Andy

I got this 24 predator from a guy who used to race her before the company went out of business. it was originally twin outboards but was re-rigged beautifully with a 454mag and a #3 drive. the motor was built pretty stout but dropped a valve and KABOOM!. A stock 330hp motor was put installed in front of the #3 and I bought everything. the boat, #3 drive, stock 330hp, and an almost complete 468 with aluminum heads. got a good deal on the whole kit. the boat went 68mph on gps on the test drive before I bought it. I changed the pistons and rods of the new motor and added a 177 blower. im hopingfor 80mph out of her once its done.
I have a ton of old literature from predator and Aero as well. contact me if your interested and I will do what I can to get you guys who want one a copy.

Ok what direction would you go in. A copy (27 Lancer),of a magnum. (Because I cant find a real magnum project boat). Or a 24ft Pantera or Super boat? How would they compare?

if you already have a 25 check a 24 pantera would not please ya buy that 27 aero or tell me where it is and i will......My mag is almost done going to need another project.........just kidding but that aero,,,,,,,If h20boater says it is built like mine then it is one tough boat.........
