The Cary made it to it's new home in Michigan on L.S.C.. I can't thank Dan & Nancey enuff from J. Daniel Marine . They helped load this Cary Powerboat in Texas, sent email updates with pictures daily, then spent 5hrs helping unload this BIG boat. They can haul boats of any size, coast to coast. I would highly recomend them if you need your boat hauled. We were going to float her over to our hoist, but after seeing how big she realy is we blocked her at the marina. Now the electrical & mechanical fun will begain !!!

h2oBoater -

Did you ever get a better resolution screen capture of the Magnum 'Hustler V' 51 from Post 715? Any other pics of this boat?

Thanks.

This was taken from a 1973, 74 home movie, shot with a Super 8 camera. Then transferred to beta than VHS and now on a Dvd. It's not bad with the Dvd running but all the stills I take off this Dvd are fuzzy, sorry.

Thanks, I had seen that, but I was a little confused because I think these are the same two boats (shown below) even though one is named Hustler V and one is named Hustler IV.

Also, the deadrise looks greater on the Hustler IV, although it might just be the result of the angle the photo was taken from.

Hmm... I think that is a 27' though, right? Hustler IV and V are 30-footers. Looks like someone removed a line from the "7" to make the Hustler II number "51" in the image below. Looks like a 27 to me.

Hustler IV and V both have a ridge running down the middle of the hullsides, which is one way to differentiate them from the 27'.

Sorry, in post #855 I meant to say FREEBOARD... To me it just looks like the aft freeboard is not the same between the pictures of Hustler IV and Hustler V even though I think they might be the same boat. Do you think Hustler IV and Hustler V are the same boat?
