Thats right, it's a Keller. It is not working so it will stay where it is. When we order new gauges I'm thinking of making a GPS speedo old school style and put it above the door or up on deck.

Looking real nice,Livorsi has a set of gauges that look like the old Stewart Warner ones, called industrial...might be the ticket. Also when you no longed need the Keller let me know I night be interested in it. Bud

There has been some progress on the dash even though I spent most of my time lately on the engines and on renovating the trim and tab pumps.
Here are some pics with the new wheel, the NOS Mercontrol I found on ebay and the repositioned trim/tab buttons. We also fixed all the switches. There is also a pic with the new dash panel replacing the aluminum one. We don't have any new gauges yet I think that has to wait until next year. All we need now is to laser engrave the logo on to the panel.

Good Day
Is the new dash panel wood or laminate, or a combination of both?
Its looking great
Thank you

The original panel is plastic with a vinyl "veneer". We had an exact copy of the panel made in plastic and then put self adhesive walnut vinyl veneer on it. I don't know what the original veneer was supposed to be but I think the walnut came close.
Next week I will have pictures of the entire boat with all the hardware and chairs back in.
With any luck we can get some running pics. I'm not worried about the engines but I don't trust the drives, gearboxes, steering and trimpumps. Something is likely to give in.

Well here we go then and thanks to all the pictures of the refits which have been posted I thought the only way was down, right down. So the "1975" 27 sport which I bought as almost ready to run back in March is now back to bare hull and deck. I mean it is all out, everything ! and when I stripped out the dashboard from the boat, as per the advice from Mr Vinyl I found the hull number just as he said. Hull No 159 September 1971. All of the hardware is totally original but when we cut through the paint which was Red and White the original deck colour was Gray and the hull Dark Blue. Have you all seen enough pictures of rebuilds or would you like to see some more ??
