Attached is the 1974 price list for Maltese, Sport, and Sedan.

I believe all options are listed.

Cool. I was wondering if my boat was Volvo or TRS boat...this may answer that.

Never heard of a 255 Merc though?

Missing the price for the 350cu.in/395hp MerCruiser Tempest package. My father had a 1974 Sport (he was not the original owner), which was delivered by Ocean Beach Marine in Lavalette, NJ. The delivering salesman for the boat told me that the boat delivered in 1974 for $32K, his name was Brad, he worked for dealership for 20+ years. The Magnum when new had the Tempest engine package, TRS drives, original from the factory.

While not the original owner my father owned his Magnum for 18 years, so the history of it was pretty well sorted out.

Was it a Ford 351? Bud has one in his Formula.

The 351 engine packages in my 69 sedan were put together by "Crusader" I have no idea of the original hp. My guess is 250 to 275

I am a bit surprised by the prices, I thought they were much higher.

Default Spare no expense

Funny thing is, is that this is the price list given to a prospective buyer at Emerald City Marina, in Michigan.
they really spared no expense eh?

I have the original bill of sale that went with it as well.

Price surprised me as well, thought they were much higher.

Great Value 40 years or older and still going strong.

Magnum should be right up there with Harley Davidson, Corvette, Indian, etc. as American classics.

Default Horsepower

Guys,

i believe the number to the left of the engine package is the horsepower rating.

For instance the 300 Chris Craft.

I know for a fact these were 300hp Chris Craft Model 300's
This was the 350 FLVHP package, 300 hp each. 350 Cubic inch Corvette LT-1. Corvette valve covers.

I am assuming horspower is indicated for others as well for others.

Jeff I went down to Emerald City back in 1974 with 6k cash in hand from the sale of my 24' Sea Ray, thinking I was ready to buy a Magum sport. Jack Sr took me aside and said kid you can't really afford this yellow Mag save your money. Because of that reality check I bought my first Klem Gem.
Looking back 35+ years later & all the boats I bought to get back to a Mag I should gone way in debt. I would sill have that Mag and been money ahead today. Mark
