Thanks for all the input.
I've decided to stay with twins.
And go with twin 350 Mag MPI CPO Horizons with Bravo III's & silent choice.
Bullet proof reliability & warranty.

Here you go - my twin 383 set up on Bravo One drives with Mayfair full hydraulic steering.

Jeff,

Your very kind, however to me the fun is in the build and the use is "Almost" an anticlimax ! After all water spoils boat does it not.

I like the sound of twins, the added security for Offshore use, a pair of handed props in place of all the power turning one way. Should I have to work in the engine compartment, 4 bolts on each side of each motor removes the Stainless Marine exhaust manifolds and I have all the space I need. Remote fit the oil filters and remote fit the block and manifold drains, what else do you need to get to that requires all this space I keep hearing about ?
Anyway that my view for what it`s worth

That is pretty much identical to the way mine is setup; twin 383's right on 500HP each through Bravo 1 drives.

Fantastic, please help me out here as I have not run the boat yet. How high are your drives?, what engine RPM do you Max. at?, What size props are you pulling ? 3 or 4 blade? and the big one WHAT IS THE SPEED.

Thanks, Nice looking. Like functional Jewelry.
i'm going fly by wire & mpi with vessel view display.
My test boat is Verado powered with smartcraft.
I can only compare it to paddle shifters vs 4 speed in a performance car & the amount of data is amazing...

"Almost" will turn to "definite" when you burn up your Barclaycard filling the petrol tanks!

I'm "chuffed to bits" to make back to Blighty this summer!
I'll take care of the throttles, trim and steering. you guys can sit back and enjoy your Pimm's and lemonade.
