Are you going to OFF this year with Jeff ? Mary and I will be coming over for the event. Looking forward to it.
I don't know if Jeff can take any more time off his job, but I would like too.

Wow, Wow and Wow! Best looking sport/restoration I've ever seen, congratulations. First pic at Cowes might be the best shot ever. Awesome.

Many thanks, I am pleased that you approve of both, it was a great day out and still that original design just remains timeless.

It was described here on one web site as being a great looking boat " Modern with a retro look" little did they realize that it was in fact the other way round.!!

Sorry for the delay Mario,

I sold the original "Magnum Tornado" back in about 1975/6 to a world champion endurance water ski racer from Sweden. He used it for a number of years before we built him a new 43` power cruiser.

My son wanted me to find Magnum Tornado and buy it back before I bought SideWinder and with the aid of Mange here on OSO we did find it again and it was for sale. However this time the deck which we had built plus the twin engines had been removed and a new flat deck had been put on it plus a single big block on a number 3 speedmaster drive installed.
However in my opinion it looked a mess and the man wanted far to much money given the condition it was in and the amount of work it would have required to put it right.
