I decided to go with 8" steel casters I like that they will never ever flat spot, and the 8" diameter will help them roll with weight on them. I am going to mount them off the top of the stand to keep the boat low I plan on keeping the keel about 13-15" off the ground.

Murf.........I sent you a PM..................the casters came from a factory close-out sale (something like $15 apiece) as far as the hull pad swivel brackets??...........

Those wheels will work just fine. The cradles & casters that Klem used in making the Magnum knock offs were never that good and he never dropped a hull when I was around

Pete ,your dolly looks slick...you should publish a sketch on our site for someone else may want to make a pair.

Also need you to send the life line to my supplier...Jeff Schuster, Rigging Only...,50 4th St....Fair Haven Mass.02719 and tell him the length you needed in cut down to. He has some of my parts so he can get it done.

Murfman........I measured the dolly and it is 25" X 48" I used doubled up 2 X 6's for the outside perimeter.........hope this helps!

Thanks. I'm going to make the base out of C channel. I'll start cutting it today. The wheels are supposed to be here Tuesday.
