I believe Magnum Marine only has manufacture two 47.5 boats, and one 27'. Both the 27' and the 47.5 boats have been built in the U.S.,
but the 47.5 have been outfitted by their European dealer, SNO Yachts. The boat in my photo is a 25 year old Swedish built Magnum 32.
They're built by the famous Boghammar Marin AB, that has mainly produced military vessels since 1906 in Stockholm, Sweden. The
Boghammar Family got into offshore racing in the 60s and became close friends with Don Aronow. They got a license to produce Magnum
boats by Don, and have made more than a hundred of them. Here's one 28' from the late 60s.

Very interesting, thanks Lars!.........The 32' pictured is such a beautiful leap forward in design...the side intake engine vents whether shown in the 32 or the old skool 28' are staple fixtures in the boats hull design.

Agree regarding the side intake engine vents.
Here's an old video of the Swedish Magnum 32 in action. This is way out in the Archipelago of Stockholm, in the Baltic Sea, so the swells are old, but still pretty significant.

skipped over me & didn't realize the 32' Magnum you speak of is 25 yrs old!.......so Boghammar was responsible that carried the now 25 yr old design you pictured. Don would have been proud to see this.
What changes to the hull bottom?....still a flat bottom hull??....but then again, must be back 25 yrs ago....right?
