There are probably a lot of used GoPro Cameras on the market as well if price is an issue.

Nothing like the underwater capabilities at 1080.

How about a regular hand held camera?

$149 on amazon delivered with the case and mounts. The thing I like about this one is the changeable lense that is in it. For $30 you can change the FOV.

$120 on ebay or less. many say it is not quite as good as Gopro, but it is dang close. Price is less given the acc. included. But people like the screen that comes with it, easier to use than the gopro (unless you use the wifi link, which looks great) and being able to change the lense.

the bigest one though for performance minded people like us boaters is the Camone is only 164 grams vs. 192 grams, and we all know weight will lower speed! You can argue with me, but you can't argue with science!!!!! LOL.

All cool cameras! I hope someone figures out the mic situation though. I can't tell you how many u-tube vids I have closed within 5 seconds because of the wind noise!

Another great thing about the go pro. Two cases, under water and water resistant. Under water case has barely any sound, but the water resistant case has a few vents on the back side that let sound in but still protect the camera in the event of a splash.

Sound comes out perfect IMO with the water resistant case. Also note on the new Hero 3, the high res setting has no "fish eye" I was pleased to see this after my first video this year. Best part of the video is from 2:35 on

Some have figured it out, some put creative music in the videos. Even with good audio there only so much of an engine running at 4500RPM that is exciting.

Which hero 3? White, silver or black?

Nice video by the way.
