[QUOTE=befu;3927688][QUOTE=4bus;3926635]. Also note on the new Hero 3, the high res setting has no "fish eye" I was pleased to see this after my first video this year.
I have the silver. The black is waste IMO. I use my phone for the remote, and the res on the silver is way more than I will ever need. If you are looking to make professional movies that will be watched on DVD the black is the way to go. The 7 minute video I posted took about 5 hrs to upload to YouTube and it is not even the highest quality for the silver.
The white is the res of the old unit, with the features of the new unit. Still a good camera
Which hero 3? White, silver or black?
Nice video by the way.

Audio-Technica PRO24CM - ~$60 on amazon - Picks up the deep bass tones the beat
Drift Innovation Ext Mic - ~$20 on amazon - most realistic sound but not super deep/bassy

Got one, bought mine from Amazon for $90 with priority shipping from the west coast. took 4 days to deliver and for $90 I am impressed. Not going to put GoPro out of business, but this is also a camera I can let my kids use and not worry. Took some video this past weekend of tubing (not on my boat) and I am very happy.

Look up the SJ1000. Also available on Ebay. Make sure you get the three button case, it is newer and works great.
Look at the review done by techmoan in Egland.

Hopefully later this week or next week I will have some video of my boat. Actually in the water. Running. Hopefully....

Nice video of the donzi, good run. Curious, didn't know Ohio was different from Indiana laws on allowing passengers to sit outside the cockpit while underway? I remember reading about that law in the Indiana rules book, and I think that is also the law up in Michigan.
Nice run, looked like fun.

Nice run in a superior piece of equipment. Nothing like a "Don" boat to make the day come together.
Thanks for sharing.
