Beautiful boat and video, just my personal standards. No reflection on the owner. But you asked.....
Arm bands on, running in an event. Generally supposed to have on jackets, but individual events might be different. Running that fast, I would be wearing jackets. They do save lives and I wear them to be an example. Do as I do, not as I say but do differently.
What looks like a minor driving a very high performance boat. Even with a boating certificate, thought you had to be 16 to operate something over 10hp. Could easily be wrong, happens daily to me. Let me know as I have five children 14 and under.
At one point the minor is sitting on the back of the bolster with feet on the seat while underway.
The minor is wearing an inflatable life jacket. Coast guard approves those for 16 and older I thought
One guy is driving at speed and the other is sitting on the swim platform with feet on rear bench. Not sure if that is legal anywhere, I know it is a big no no anywhere I have boated.
Not sure on others, didn't watch it all. Saw enough.
To be honest, it is their call. Very capable boat, wasn't there. Obviously nothing happened. But I am not the one that made it public information by posting it online. Maybe the "boy" is 16, but looks 11 or 12 to me. My 14 year old is 6'4" and wears a size 15 shoe now. So my opinion might be off on that one. Just me, doesn't mean anything anyways, just an observation. Love to see the videos, just would be nice if I could let my children watch it and not have to defend why I make them follow the laws.
