I think this was the video you were talking about befu?
I remember a year or two ago someone posted a video of them running a new stepped single V-hull in a poker run I think. Maybe outerlimits or another high end brand. But at one point, the driver cuts inside of one or two swimming buoys at high speed to pass someone. I couldn't believe they were trying to defend that action and how some here defended it also. First, I do stupid stuff also. It is wrong and I do not defend it or make excuses. Yeah no one got hurt. But I sure as heck do not post a video of it, brag about it and then try to defend it! You break the rules or act careless and get away with it, keep it to yourself. Post a video of it and you open yourself up to the criticism.

I remember that video as well, it was at the Lake of the Ozarks, if I remember correctly it was being operated by two people that should have know better and I to remember the posts that followed.
The best thing we can do as boaters is captain our vessel in a safe and courteous manor each and every time in order to protect our passengers and those around us. This mentality is something money cannot buy.

Yes certainly a different video. We all had our jackets on and observed run rules. Some of the videos online are accidents waiting to happen that's for sure. Play safe out there.
