Default Coles Point Poker Run Date

Good Day to All,

It is time again to start preparing for this years Poker Run to benefit the Coles Point Substation. Last year was a great success but this year I would like to see it bigger and better than ever before, and that is going to require everyone's help. So please mark your calendar for June 25th, 2011!!!!!!!! Pass that date along to everyone that you know.

We are going to be trying a few new things this year but would like to hear from anyone that has an idea of something that they would like to see for this year or even next year. That includes stops, activities, etc.

I will be forwarding registration forms out before the end of March. Again if you have any questions please feel free to call or email me at my info below.

Thank you again for your past participation and I look forward to seeing each of you there.

Sincerely,

Wendy Lowery

We have been in on this run since it started. Will be returning this year.

We will be working with Wendy to come up with DIFFERENT ideas to get more people and boats involved. Please contact either me or Wendy with any suggestions. We want very much to make this a fun filled day with longer runs and different stops.

Who is in?

Good evening everyone,

The poker run is fast approaching and we have a few new and exciting thing planed for this year. This year we will be doing the "normal" stops to include starting at Coles Point Plantation (however AC's will not be participating this year), from there we will have breakfast at Tall Timbers and then off to Fitzies then back to Coles Point where a shuttle will take you to and from the Tavern. This year the Cople District Volunteer Fire Department will cook our dinner for the end of the event (This is a BYOB dinner that will be held at the pavilion) Along with our run across river we will also have a Cornhole tournament that evening with live music and great prizes.

I am attaching an entry form for the poker run but would ask that you please reply to this email and let us know if you will be able to attend this event, so that the Fire Department could properly plan for your meal. I look forward to hearing from all of you as soon as possible.

Thank you for all of you support in the previous years and I hope that with you help we can have another fantastic year.

Wendy Lowery

P.S. I will have the final itinerary and any additional information to you all as soon as everything is final.
