This is our first year as boat owners....first year to winterize....
I am near the washington dc area...was wondering when I/o motors usually are winterized by?
Its getting nippy out and has me wondering ...I know we have got to have some more warm weather coming...haha....maybe dreaming huh?

Yup, Thanksgiving weekend is my winterizing tradition.

I remember one yr. my friend had already winterized his boat and on Dec. 7th, it was well into the 70's, close to 80. He dropped the boat in and we went to G-Town!

The warm days are why I am reluctant to send it to hibernation too soon.
Would love to get back into river if it heats up a little bit!
