Decided not to buy a slip this year. Any good places to launch around Annapolis or on the eastern shore. DNR lists a few locations but it really doesn't say how large a boat you can launch.
Thanks

Sandy Pt State Park is very nice. Not sure of operating hours. Probably on State of MD website.

Sandy Point is your best bet. We launch a 44 MTI there with no problem. I have attached a picture of the deepest ramp there. Hope this helps.

Yea it's safe at sandy point but i still use the typical precautions (i.e. trailer lock and locking hitch pin) and plenty of ramps as well as a nice turning radius for the trailer. You can leave out of the park 24 hrs a day so if you stay out late no issues. It's state maintained so its in nice shape.

Plus you can get a season pass for $75, that is good at any MD state park.

Just read that they redid that one and the one in Centreville. Wonder how crowded they will be, and if there are size limitations.

Checked out Sandy point; lots of ramps lots of space looked great. I bought a season pass and will pickup a public landings permit for Queen Anne's county. Spent a few good Sunday's over at the Red Eye and the Jetty last year.
