The Corps wants "no permanent structural modifications" to docks, unless approved. I have rigged a gutter on the end of the roof over my slip using angle iron and then clamping to the uprights. Anyway, it obviously doesn't stop rain from hitting the part of the boat that is not under cover, but it does keep the daily dew from dripping on my boat everyday. Helps keep things cleaner and no more black streaks down the sides of my boat.

There is a 14x44 slip for sale down the street from me that would be great, but the dock it is in needs a lot of work plus re-foaming which means a big $ hit coming to the slip owners. They are asking 50K which is a little rich for me. I will continue to "hang out".

There you go Christian! What part of the lake you at Bill? I cant afford $50k slip & if i could, not sure i would want to pay practically the same price as i did for the boat that will sit in it.

With the water levels the way they are, i think we will just stay at loto this yr & see if i have better luck next yr at table rock.

Sounds good. The weather channel is predicting sunny shine & 80 degrees. I need to call my marina and see if my dock has power for the lift. If not I am bringing a generator.

Not far from the KC bridge.

I was planning on getting the boat out this weekend, but pulled the drives to lube the u-joints and found an input shaft seal leaking, so I don't know if I will get it repaired in time.
