bryanh, well, at least were close to a turn

Hopefully, we can see well.

We can have a get together at my house <g>...I don't think my husband would have ANY problem with that! Most of our people won't be here 'til Saturday. If anyone is interested, let me know! I know I'm new but, hey, the offer is open. Nice place on the Quiet Side

I don't know how far off the spectator fleet will be but most of our fans and family will be between turns one and two! Hook up with them and cheer for the local boy in the All Jack'D up Cat lite boat!!!

We (Myself and a few other eliminators) are meeting at the Grand Glaize bridge to run up to Big Dicks at 10am. Sat. Night I think we will either be going to Shady Gators or Dog Days.

I will be going to Big Dicks on Saturday with the rest of the Eliminators.. I would be interested in doing something Saturday night if we can get into Shady Gators for under 6 million dollars..

Shady Gators shouldnt be a problem getting in at night. I think the issue will be finding a place to park.

Why don't you guys go out on the boat(s) and tie up to watch the race?

Actually I was thinking more about why we don't all tie up to their dock and see what we can see from the deck!!

That is exactly what I was going to ask them too until she said they changed the course and it isn't very close to them now, maybe a mile away? Not sure but I had that exact idea too

It sucked that they changed the course, but we still have a quite nice view. In fact, we probably have as good as or better a view as some people over at Toad. WE can see almost he entire course, just a tiny bit of the turn up at the 6 isn't viewable from here. With a nice set of binoculars, it's like being on the boats.

We don't have a dock on the main channel, we have a deck about 30 feet above the water, we use a dock on the moonlight Bay side, we have a nice 4-well on an easement.

Meanwhile, a couple of our neighbors that we met here on the Forum came by today. Interestingly enough, both of them knew other people who were already here, or who we knew from elsewhere in Sunrise Beach
