Plus unlike a lot of lakes there are a lot of background lights at LOTO. 30's plenty fast for me and I really try not to be out after dark. Whenever I hear a boat going fast at night I cringe a little.

One of the reasons I switched to a different style of boating for LOTO - I will be able to keep this on plane at around 16-17mph. Plus the radar will spot unlit boats. Just came out of paint today.

He let me off, I knew him, recognized me after he stopped me. He admitted he only pulled me over because he was bored.

Cree - I was down this past weekend, not in my boat though. Give me a call next time you're down.

When they do the WP does the bwi checkpoints, there will be about 10 of them out there w/o lights.

I never take my boat out at night. First of all couldn't stay on plane at that speed. Just like to be able to see what's in the water. Lucky to have friends with slow cruisin' boats.
